Lacticaseibacillus paracasei TDM-2 was isolated from milk in high altitude (3600m+) Dazi pasture of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with superior hydroxyl radical scavenging capacity.

• The strain originates from a clean area far from industrial pollution. Whole-genome analysis revealed no virulence factors, and it shows no resistance to multiple antibiotics, indicating excellent safety. 

• The strain possesses strong resistance to gastric acid and bile, enabling it to reach the intestinal tract with high viability and deliver its efficacy. 

• The strain exhibits excellent antioxidant activity, capable of scavenging intestinal oxidative stress, alleviating inflammation, regulating microbial community structure, and reversing "gut age."
